Overview

The NSPA-SPE-CR code list is used to reference college readiness programs that are associated with scholarships.

Usage

In the Scholarship Exchange , a college readiness program is defined as a preparatory program that provides middle and/or high school students with academic, financial, and socio-emotional support through programming such as mentorship, tutoring, and college application assistance.

References

As there is not a published standard of college readiness programs that offer scholarships, it is logical for the NSPA Exchange to maintain their own list. This list is supplemented by the following primary sources:

• NACAC Directory of College Access & Success

• Scholarship programs that require participation in specific college readiness programs (ex. Dell Scholars).
