More Information
What kind of information is in the Member Site?
The Member Site has a wealth of information about scholarship programs and provider organizations. This includes:
Core scholarship information such as the program name, description, award amount, application deadline, application website, and more.
Scholarship eligibility requirements such as a minimum GPA, financial need, activities, interests, affiliations, citizenship requirements, and more.
Program provider information such as a total award amount given, when the provider started offering scholarships, and so forth.
What kinds of programs are included in the Member Site?
The Member Site contains scholarship awards of all kinds, for all types of students. Many programs are “traditional” scholarships for graduating high school seniors attending a college or university. But, the Member Site contains programs for returning and nontraditional scholars, programs for older people, programs for technical or trade schools, fellowships, travel-abroad opportunities, and on and on. The essential criteria are that the program is offered by a legitimate entity to support an academic purpose.
Are the programs only those offered by NSPA Members?
No, we do include scholarships from other trustworthy and vetted sources. Having said that, we focus on programs offered by NSPA members and work to maintain a complete and current set of NSPA member programs.
The Member Site FAQ has more detail about programs.
