PREVIOUS VERSION

This site is the documentation for a Scholar Snapp Austin (v3.0), a previous version of the Scholar Snapp Technology Suite.

The Snapp solution is currently backward-compatible with v3.0, but all new development projects should leverage Scholar Snapp Technology Suite Berkeley (v4.0).

Getting Involved

The Snapp Solution doesn't exist in a vacuum. We spend a lot of time looking at scholarship applications, talking with applicants and scholarship providers, and generally trying to improve the solution at every opportunity. If you'd like to get involved, here are a few ways you can help.

Data Standard Governance

The Snapp Profile is updated and improved every year. We make these changes based on feedback from current and prospective implementers like you. If you have feedback (good or bad) about the data standard, send it to us any time at Governance@ScholarSnapp.org.

Since any change to the standard has an impact on current implementers, we go through a Request for Comments (RFC) period each year where we solicit improvement opportunities, preview changes using draft standards, and so forth. Our RFC period usually starts around late December to early January and extends through May. If you'd like to sign up for updates or discuss changes live, drop us a note. Same address: Governance@ScholarSnapp.org.

We'll get back with you within a week or so.

Suggestions & Questions

If you have general suggestions or need help from a human, send an e-mail to ContactUs@ScholarSnapp.org

During the active application season (August through January), we'll usually reply within a day. In the off-season, it may take a few days to get back with you. Patience is a virtue.
