Scholar Snapp is a free solution that allows students to store all their basic application information – including contact information, essays, transcripts, etc. – then reuse that information from one scholarship application to another, simplifying the scholarship application process. While students can store, view, edit, and update their information on the Scholar Snapp website at scholarsnapp.org, it is not a common application or software that replaces other application or scholarship software. Rather, the problem Scholar Snapp is designed to solve is the redundant effort required by millions of students applying for scholarships, grants, and college admission.  Each year, millions of students spend countless hours completing college admission and scholarship applications.  While these applications have a significant number of questions that overlap, students have to re-enter that data over and over and over again.  Scholar Snapp provides a way for students to save their application information, and reuse it by importing and exporting from application to application.

While Scholar Snapp does have the website to view and edit application data, it is not a common application.  With a common application, you are able to apply to several institutions or programs at once, which is a tremendous benefit.  But if you want to reuse your application from that common application site at an institution or program outside of their members, you need to re-enter all of that application data again.  Great news, though, The Common Application is Scholar Snapp enabled, so you get the best of both worlds!

• saves students time by reusing their data across more scholarships and applications
• helps students find scholarships they can apply to using ScholarSnapp.org
• contains more than 300 data fields including essays, recommendations, video uploads, etc.
• is flexible enough to synchronize just a few data elements within an application or many data elements
• puts students in control of their data

Scholar Snapp does not...

• award any scholarships or financial aid directly
• share any data without permission
• charge any membership or account fees
• sell any data, anytime, anywhere
