Updated: December 2024
Overview
Stakeholder-led solution design is the collaborative process of creating and establishing a set of objectives, specifications, and system features that build on community contributions. This document outlines the principles and practices that govern contributions to the Apply Tampa Bay Council and any affiliated working groups.
Scope of Contributions
General Input Regarding the Solution
We actively solicit input regarding the Apply Tampa Bay Scholarship Search before, during, and following council meetings. However, we welcome input and contributions to the Apply Tampa Bay Scholarship Search anytime.
As a matter of practice, we record all suggestions for improvements and additions regardless of source and timing.
We track changes and change requests in the NSPA Tracker, a Jira-based system. A report of open tickets is available to the public here.
Proposed Changes to the Apply Tampa Bay Scholarship Search
Apply Tampa Bay Council members are the primary source of feature additions and changes to the Scholarship Search website. The Council also indicates priorities for development.
Prior to the release of a new major version of the Apply Tampa Bay Scholarship Search, we will review proposed changes at Council meetings. At that time, we actively solicit input on the proposed changes — and welcome additional contributions, even if unrelated to the proposed changes.
Requests for Comment
From time to time, the NSPA team will solicit input regarding specific issues. The problem description or proposed technology approach will be published online or circulated via email with specific questions for feedback. A request for input will be sent to all Council members and any organizations or individuals with special expertise or a stake in the outcome.
Usually, these requests for input regard major issues or changes.
